seems the time for it eh?
A few of you will have heard of Skinnipeep, my hand tame silver King Quail. He is looking very weird today and I don't like it. he seems to be slightly drooping one wig, and I felt it it's not broken. It was very loose though, almost floppy.
King quails often shuffle their feathers by fluffing up their back feathers, then ruffling. He seems to have his back feathers up all the time, no ruffling.
help! he is my favourite quail, after losing his brother, I couldn't stand losing my little adorabubble boy!

He's in the sun at the moment, bit of shade & plenty of water. He was born in October 2008, so almost 2 years.

Thanks finchbreeder for that, he's ok now.

at one point it really didn't look like he was going to make it. Glad I found some vitamin pick - me - up stuff.

and thanks also to everyone who read the topic (I know some people did, I saw your names at the bottom) and didn't answer, your silence was VERY helpful in sustaining the life of my little guy.

stil worried about his wing though.

Know just how you feel, one of my baby quail was stretched out looking dead when I got back home. :o I was only out for 2 hours! After the drama I had with the first day they hatched I grabbed him and warmed him up, he came around and started cheeping still not looking right though...a bit dopey. Anyway hes back in with the Dad now hes in the nest keeping them warm. Im not expecting a happy outcome though. :(

Fingers crossed for us both.
