Yeah you can get it online from a few places but I preferred to see if any shops had it coz I was to impatient to wait for it to be shipped lol luckily I found a shop.

It was from Andrew Isles Natural History Books
Their website is http://www.andrewisles.com/

I just called them and asked them to hold one for me when they received them. You can also buy it online from these guys too and at least there in Vic if you live in Vic! There located in Prahran.

hi all,

Just wondering if there is an equivelant of Russel Kingston's new finch book for Australian Parrot fanciers? You know comprehensive, thick and heavy, photos, specific chapters on housing and breeding in the wild and in aviculture. In other words not just a field guide or a breeders guide.
Any suggestions? I find it hard as most parrot and finch books are online and you cant flick through them.
any help would be greatly appreciated

Fantastic book, comprehensive digest of all finches.
I was fortunate enough to meet Russell at his book launch in Adelaide, July 2010,
I purchased 2 signed copies, one for reading the other for keeps sake,
recommend this book to all finch breeders, just another great bird book for the library.
