only photo i could get today. mum says there were 2 or 3 bubs out by midday but i was at uni so didnt have a chance to get any more photos or even see them :(

this is the first to fledge this morning though :D

That's a fantactic effort and a beautiful bird to boot. I've only managed to get one on the perch so far.

You can often find stands of Pampass in all sorts of places. There are a few in front yards near my place. You can also find it along roadsides in country areas and in un-tended areas around town - such as along train lines. As with so many things, once you start keeping an eye out for it, you tend to start seeing it everywhere...

pleased to report not one, not two, not three, but FOUR young healthy diamonds out of the nest this morning :D all having a great time crashing about the aviary :lol: havent quite learnt the landing skills yet...
