thanks , I might not have to build much as when we were looking at the place I seen scarlet robins , varigated and splendid wrens and some thornbills as next door is a national park , so we get apparently alot of roos and and some wallabies I have been told, just down the road where my partners auntie lives they have wild sacred kingfishers , so I am hoping I will too, all I want to attract is some red eared fire tails and I be in A birdo's heaven. There is nothing like having most of these birds in captivity but to me seeing them in the wild and locally will really make my day........so hopefully not only build pics but some of the locals aswell......pete

flab , they are in the outter suburbs of perth have seen some in southern river near gosnells but thats it. none closer to perth thanks to people and there cats etc. but just past wanneroo i have been told white wings have been seen , but i guess as the urban sprawl goes further i guess so will they.....also flab we have a native lorrikeet ( we actually have two the other is th red collar found up north)over here that many years ago was around perth , but thanks to the rainbow lorrikeet and there stand over tactics on most nest sites they too have disappeared now they are only found in the south west, but thanks to calm they have slowely been slowing the migration of the rainbow lori.....Luke sorry mate no room at the inn but your welcome for a visit anytime....pete

Remember, the more aviaries you build the less lawn that is required to mow.
