Separating zebra finch pairs

Hi all...
I was just wondering how you go by Separating zebra finch pairs.
Can i just put the new pairs in a cage or what?

could you please detail the situation a bit more? If they are just a few pairs in a cage and you want to separate them, just putting the different pairs in different spots should be OK.

Like Jay says, more info on what you are actually trying to do. If you have several pair and want to bond them a certain way, the best bet is place each individual pair in a seperate small cage until they show signs of bonding. If you just want to stop them breeding it is even easier. Remove all the nest boxs, as long as the avairy is moderately protected they will be fine.
