Hi,
I want post the link to my webcam. Maybe some of you can enjoy checking the nest.
It is Green Singer (Serinus Mozambicus) nest with one chick in it. The hatchling is 4 days old.
The hen usually feeds the chick about every 15 minutes and the cock feeds the hen about every hour.
The camera is on during the daytime, and since I'm in Canada it could be off for the part of the day in Australia.
You also can check pictures from the gallery. Camera takes shots every 5 minutes and you can see them in the Gallery section even if the webcam is offline.
Enjoy,
ikhom.

That's pretty damned cool! I noticed that the eggs in the stills don't all look identical. Is that a feature of this bird or were ou attempting some fostering?

I had a problem with the hen. It was breaking eggs, so I had to set monitoring to see when it happens. There were 2 real eggs from these pair and 2 fake eggs. One egg hatched, one didn't. This hen always lays three eggs and she broke the first egg , so I was left with two real eggs.

I was replacing the real eggs with plastic eggs to prevent them from being broken and to teach the hen to sit on them tight.
