Just pulled 7 eggs out of 2 nests of zebs all infertile. Is this common with these guys? I've not experienced this with zebs before. I have another pair on the nest with 8 eggs this pair were the last of the pairs to lay.

If it is their first nest I wouldn't worry too much, I never expect anything from a first nest from anything. Give them a couple more goes, if nothing then I would be starting to worry.

Better than hatching and then loosing them after a couple of days. My Creams are on their 3rd nest and only have 3 on the perch from 6pairs. Opal Cock bird to Fawn Hen 3 nests all fertile eggs didnt feed one off them. My Opal season pretty well done and dusted without any young splits to use.
They will be right give them a chance hens need more time grow up i think as they do the bulk off the work.

I have the same problem with my older pair of Zebras. They are approximately 5years old, the male may be older he was a pet store rescue. I have put it down to old age and infertility. Their last season had been very poor to begin with only 1 or 2 young and then no fertile clutches for the rest of the season and now the second season none either. They do make great reliable Zebra fosters though, so they have looked after my young pairs clutch.
I did hear that making calcium and Vit D3 avail for the cock birds make them more fertile.
