Wife said I was a bit harsh . . Sorry
in advance to those who may be offended
When I saw a "needler" sex an empty carry-box as a "definite" hen, as proof of his powers . . I became a skeptic
PS Mum's gone now . . .
Bridge offer still stands

Hi Gomer,
there is no harm in trying everything I say! But I must ay I am not a believer.
A much respected and well known breeder here in Qld uses a wedding ring for Diamonds.
I came up with a new method for sexing Diamonds (based on visual sexing). We had a competition to see whose method was more accurate.
Mine was 85% accurate on mature birds, and 99.9% on immature birds.
The ring was 58% accurate.
So over 50% makes you wonder, but less than 70% still makes me think it is coincidence.

How is it supposed to work? What is causing the needle to move and why would it be different from male to female?
