If I can contain myself I will not look today.They will most likley be dead already,Or if not I dont want to disrupt them more.
The chestnuts still had eggs.I did find another nest with chicks about the same size,But there was already atleast 5 young in it,And I think it had redbrows in it.

No it was on the ground,Right in under some tussock grass.

I seen a adult on the ground near the nest this morning,And have seen a adult eating a meal worm today.So they may have.I will have to wait a while to find out.I usaully have been looking up all the time as I go past that aviary,As I have been watching some possible splits colour up.

Bummer tho i know what you mean. Hate to say it but out of all the birds you can disrupt there not one of the ones you want to. But you already know that better then me. My fingers are crossed for you gomer and i realy hope they look after the young.
Hey gomer are your redbrows nesting in a living tree? And have you ever bred them in brush?

All my redbrows have breed in brush.I dont have trees in my aviaries.
