well as the title say i got another great suprise this arvo after not being home for the weekend went to check the birds and to find not 1 not 2 but 3 different clutches of plumheads totalling 10birds soo was pretty happy about that and 2 off the prs were first timers nd out of those 2 prs 1 pr i didnt even think they were nesting. soo any off u west aussies if you want plumheads ill have some available in a few months. also while checken the birds and feediong them heard young pied parrot finches in the nest not sure how many as i dont do nest inspections. soo today was a pretty good day

yeh was a good suprise to come home too wasnt expecten 3 nests at once either but have always had great success with the plumheads and i think most under estimated bird specially the way they are around newly fledged alway on the look out for the young and there squarken to warn off others and was kinda cute to see me other pr of parrotfinches were also looken out for them too in 1 aviary. mite have to setup another pr of 2 off plumheads probs 1 of my fave finches i think spec out off the Aussies they will always bee in my aviaries
