anyone know when the west aussie finch society auction is and planning on going? i'd love to be able to go and pick myself up some birds (YH goulds) but have to work!!

If you ring the society secretary they may give you the phone number of breeders planning on selling there , Ive found the sellers are just as happy for you to buy birds before the auction / sale ( from home )....saves them transporting birds . Anyhoo whats it going to cost to ask , not much .

Hi Spanna, next sale is at 11am on12/12/10, all birds for sale must be in by 10am. sale is at the Osbourne Park Show grounds.

We were planning on going tho hubby will be hobbling around due to surgery, so not sure! Wouldn't mind getting a couple of YH normal gouldians + a pair of st Helena's maybe.

yeah they used to be great fun went when i was a youngster (about 9 i think!) wish i didnt have work!! might have to see if i can work something out...

I wonder what the odds are of talking my daughter into going on an outing. :thumbup: After all uni is finished for the year and she has nothing to do. Though she seems to think her precious cactus and succulent collection need her.
