Pied blue face parrot finch

Hi all I'm just askin I know that there is pied in red face& sea green parrot finches. But have never heard of pied in blue face. Just wonder why is that..

I'm not sure about WHY not, but I do know the occasional 'grizzle ' bird comes up. It's pied-ed with lutino spots all over. (if you can find a copy there's a pic in the OLD russell kingston book, keeping and breeding finches and seedeaters.)

Possibly people like me bred them and though that like with red face they were not a pinch on the original and did not bother so they died out. :oops:
