Why lebanese cucumber

You can feed any cucumber but the reason they go for lebanese, seeds are smaller but main reason it has :geek: a sweeter taste[

Thanks for all the replies so far. Like most of you,tried lots of fruits & vegetables but it's that leb cu they go nuts over. They must really love the taste as shox said.

i'm pretty sure its because its sweeter.

mine nibble at regular cucumber, until about as long as it takes for them to realise they have been swindled and then they largely ignore it. but the lebanese, obviously mine are no exception and can't get enough of the stuff.

the cubans, OB's and ruddies seem especially fond, but that said - the saints, goulds, cordons - they all eat it.
