A pair of A/f have recently fledged 2 young, the male parent seems to be paying a lot of attention to 1 of the young, not the way a parent should
be treating his young. Is this normal or should I remove him?
Cheers Greg.

Have heard of budgies occasionally behaving inapropriately to their young. The posative is the parent bird in question is usually quite fertile as well th negative is the poor young is best removed to a less traumatic environment as soon as practical. Fostered or weaned.
