Ah mozzies, lol, we have the big scotch greys, and sandflies on steroids. We always get them when it's wet. Not like the coastal sandflies, they are big and nasty, actually drive the roos mad by getting in their ears. Birds seem to be ok with all the mozzies and sandflies, not much we can do about it out here though, bug zappers are a waste of time for us, we tried that last summer, buggered up in no time, just wore out I think, lol.
