My Jacarini finches had a nest in a lilly pilly tree with 2 babies & they were doin well almost a week. But found 1 dead 1 day & the other the nexted up the far end of the aviary. They have a Australia Native Planted Aviary its 3x3x3. Mixed species of finches, canary, quail. They have seed, insect mix, cununga grit, grass seeds. Wat went wrong.

I've never kept them but from what I remember I'm pretty sure they require live food (eg meal-worms, termites or maggots) in order to raise their young.
