Just last week one of our three chooks produced a very small egg and it had no yolk at all.
When I worked at a chicken farm (egg producing farm) we would regularly get double yolkers, but we had to take those out.

Have heard from people who have have double yolkers that were fertile, the chicks needed help to hatch (when first chip appears in the egg very carefully scour it with a fingernail) but were mostly too small and weak to survive. Not all big eggs are double yolkers though, some just big, and the baby that hatches is not always any bigger than normal.
