Hi everyone I am new to this forum I am a perth boy and from the hills however I now live in the northern burbs....I am really getting into breeding and I love the crimsons I have a couple of boys but would love to get a couple of females ........I also love the painted I am still learning and I know from reading I will have no worries with some good advice from other members I have to thank my lovely wife for finding this site ...thanks babe...and I look forward to chatting with you all....bye for now

Hallo Eaglefinch and welcome. Are you by chance a member of the Finch Society of WA? If you are looking for the crimsons there are probably some members in your area that can help you out. In any case there are some great bird barns in the greater Perth area. cannot wait to get back there myself in April. Cheers, Case.

Thanks for the welcome and I am going to join the finch society over here I have been to one of there open days and found a wealth of information there..I did a run up the coast and got some great natural seeds....at the moment I am setting up a desert cage and have a few bits and pieces from friends and can't wait till I have finished that it will look fabulous with some stone and washed sands also sphinifix....grasses and I have also been given an ant hill............!!!!! anyway all my spare time is spent doing and getting for my birds etc....so I need to get going and on with it....bye for now

hey everyone just checking in I had a good weekend working and getting my new aviary ready as I have mentioned and I have found the wa finch society and am joining up and going to my first meeting next week so all good there...so happy valentine to everyone and hope to get on to a chat with a few people soon....so from me now bye.....Eagle finch...
