gday there.., just after a little information if you guys will?
upon my way home this evening i was riding along, and nearly ran over this little fellow, i noticed him fluttering around on the ground, as i picked him up, i noticed his legs, head and wings were bound together with golden orb weaver spider web.
so i bought the little glider home with me, done a little dr doolittle, and the little fella is as good as gold, he even sat in my hand singing for a few minutes.
not knowing a great deal on finch breads, i took to the net for some identification, without any luck.
so here i am, to ask you guys, as you probably know what you are on about, rather than missleading information on the net.
it was just on dark i found this fella, so the photo i have is not the best quality, as it was taken from a laptop cam.

he has like an army green on his back
a gray underbelly
his tail seems green too, with a shorter red overlay that runs halfway down his tail
beak is black, with a white dot eitherside of his beak opening.

i hope that description can help a little.

Nightrider, if you need a hand with feeding or housing, i'm only just down the road, however not an expert in young birds or red-brow's. Good luck

thanks for the replys fellas, i thought it might have been a baby red brow, just wasnt to sure?
little guys pretty happy at the moment, considering his sleeping up on my kitchen bench snoozing away.
i think i'll just open the backdoor in the morning and he can leave when he wants, (or until i chase the bugger out for shitting on my cutlery.)
anyways he still has a few roughed up feathers here and there, but seem to fly well enough to get around.
