Have my first two clutches hatched for the season one of 5 and one of 3. The batch of 3 is a blue and a possible split will leave them for a few days and have a closer look when its warmer,As its their maiden clutch. Some others are looking at boxes aswell.

Well done Gomer. I too have had some blues hatch this week. One nest of 8 and the other 4. 5 other pairs also on fertile eggs. Its early days yet but the season looks promising. I placed the boxes in earlier this year begiining of Feb as the weather has been all over the place and the birds seemed ready to go to nest.
