Got my first babies of the season!
Just found a couple of youngsters this morning hatched out probably yesterday :whoohoo:
Gouldians, parents are BH WC GB cock x BH PC GB hen.

great news di! Ive got another 2 pair who have just started sitting and i can hear the painted young also. Its gone from nothing to everything here. As soon as i said mine were being slow they got down to bussines. Just got one last pair not sitting.

You should have some nice splits to breed from now. Im excited to see how many white breasts i get this year as alot are split breeding to a wb.

If all the eggs laid so far get hatched out I should have quite a few by the end of this month, got 9 pairs going in various stages, one pair are just flying around not even interested in the boxes, others have eggs, then this pair with young in the nest.
Ive got eggs from a BH WC GB pair too that look fertile. :D They are due to hatch about 19th March, fingers crossed.
