Ive checked her feathers , wings etc as you do and nothing is amiss so I just thought Id keep an eye on her anyhoo after reading another post I think she may be a chance of being calcium deficient .
So the thing Im thinking is to get some Calcium Sandoz into her preferably without catching her OR to add Biocal to the aviary for her to pick at herself .
I have Biocal already so really just need some advice as to whether to treat her / leave her or add the Biocal and let her pick at it herself?
I have taken a bit of a leave her be attitude up to now as she went directly onto eggs within days of being released into the suspended aviary so Im not sure if she has a problem or hasnt got used to the aviary and I kinda dont like to add anything to the diet that isnt needed in case it may harm the bird.
They all have access to cuttlebone and calci grits but I dont think they are getting the minerals they need also.
Any advice appreciated
