The tri colour is singing and sticking his head in the nest boxes, the plumheads are singing but not showing much interest in the nests, the zebras have already colonised 2 of the nests, the gouldians were on a tour of inspection this morning as well, and the quails have laid an egg.
I can't wait to have the aviary up, and a hen tri parrot finch! i should be all set

I did that with the big shed in the garden. Hubby has now acknowledged that I need some space for them and after this breeding season we will be sorting out the shed and creating an area just for the cabinets.

I have 3 cages that I can use (might hide them in the shelter of my aviary )
I can't use them in my bird shed (yes I got one ) because it's too dark therefore there's not much point they'd all die of Vit. D deficiency
I must be a tough love parent. My kids can have any car they can pay for. But we do pay the fuel, licence, insurance and maintainence once they achieve that. Only till they get their degree and job but.
