Quails..I wanted only normals but I had one pop out kinda yellow from zebfinch.com site looks like a silver he will be getting feathers by the time im back home on Fri how long until I know silver or Cin?

you can tell straight away from hatching the difference between silver and cinnamon, silvers are plain yellow, cinnamons have a browner tinge plus 2 parallel redish stripes heading down their back :)

Thanks Jay the parents must both be split silver then, this 1 bub doesnt have the brown dragstrip its pretty much chicken yellow but a bit dirtier :drool:
