I saw the news this morning about evacuations in the Kimberly because of floods and it got me wondering that I hadn't seen Kimberly Breeder responding on lline for a while. She may be busy at work as I don't think Kunnanurra is affected. I hope she is OK and that birds are high and dry over there.

Yeah, they said the same thing in 2000- the world didn't end, and the computers were fine!

But you're right, there's some very heavy stuff happening out there!

HI All-

Thanks for your concerns! Its nice to know I have fellow finch enthusiasts out there concerned :) I am fine and my birds are all ok :) Yes we have had some flooding here and the east Kimberley was put on a state of emergency. We are still cut off road wise, food being flown i and we were without telecommunications for a 10 days! Repairs are underway for Mcphee Bridge and Bow river bridge. I have been having to fly in and out of work (Argyle Diamond Mine). We have a few days of dry weather so hopefully things will dry up a bit. There is still concern over the Lake Argyle Dam wall though-record ;evels in the Dam. We have recieved 1800 mls of rain since October!

Fincher and Spanna I am sending you a pm :) Thanks again everyone!

Welcome back to the world. At least it wasn't a Richter 9.0 eathquake, 10m tsunami and nuclear melt-down. When do you expect teh dry season to kick in?
