yellow rump ????

HA finally found out what this little bird is that showers under my sprinkler .

Cant get a pic they are too fast and too tiny but what I have been thinking was Yellow Rump Finches is these . Mystery solved YAY.

I love the thornbills, they are constantly cheeping and singing away in the tree above the aviary. for such a tiny bird their song is so loud, but it's so flute like and beautiful no one could ever complain :D :D :D

Sadly Jay I cant hear them , I just know they are a delight in the yard , them and the Wrens :thumbup:

Beautiful little bird. We had lots of them in the garden when I was a little kid in Tamworth. I'm glad they are still around

They are a sweet little bird , they mainly come into the yard when the sprinkler is on , they love the wet grass . I didn't realise how tiny they are until today when a sparrow close to them .
