totaly off topic..but can I ask what type of finch is that lovely bird in KIMBERLY BREEDERS avitar? Im sure iv never seen anything like it,is it some kind of star? : 8-)

beautiful bird,but I def read somewhere twinspots were very territorial so not for me ,not enough room :roll: .its just amazing what pretty patterns are on some finchs

I don't think you have to worry about them being territorial Amalan...you'd be hard pressed finding one in Australia.
If you did, then I'd give them all the territory they need!!! ;)

yes..I saw they are about $800 a pair so at that price I recon they would have to have there own airconditioned avery :lolno:

Yep- Its one of the Green Twinspots :) My ultimate lust bird!! Wish we could get them here in OZ. $800 a pair??? I would definetly get a pair if thats what they cost.. I would have thouht they would be more than the Dybowski Twinspots which are around $4000 a pr I believe..
