Must agree with this statement,but I'd just remove eggs if any appear which is less than likely this time of year. Remember it is more than likely a roosting nest and if you split them now you may lose one or both to cold nights. apart from astheticly what is the problem wih hybrids? I know they can be sterile so thats going to stop them breeding themselves but is it actualy unhealthy or dangerous for the birds?? just wondering
its not so much that I want them to breed as that I feel bad that they have bonded and will be upset if I take their partner when they are happy together
hopefully they are just roosting then ,its a lovely nest I was very glad she was in with another bird due to being half bald,prev I left a light on for her to sleep next to ,she was clearly a bit chilly she stopped that when she paired up with him ..hopefully its that simple

Most but not all hybrids are sterile. And the not all bit is the problem.
