hey guys. im new to this forum and im not 100% sure what im doing right now but i hope its right. im only very new to breeding gouldians and the past few months ive been breeding the australian yellow and has gone fairly successful. but lately i have been really interested in breeding the blue gouldian as well. i just wanted to know how much they would cost, the benifits of breeding them and how common they are particularly in australia. thanks

I wouldn't recommend breeding blue's until you get some experience up your sleeve. As yet they are still a bit fragile for a beginer. The price of them I would hate for you to loose them and become disheartened

agreed though your enthusiasm is enviable
blueies are beautiful birds, though I reckon they can't compare to a normal RH male
they are currently not particularly common in Aus, that is reflected in their price, and the reason is their difficulty in breeding. I must say I can't understand why they are difficult, they are gouldains right??? oh well mine is not to reason why. or is it...
