Oh I wish I had some!!! The most expensive finches I have are Blue Caps. They will be in my new aviary soon! Id like some orange cheeks or Peters Twinspots if they ever come down in price :)

I would not believe that price for a bird that is almost certainly extinct in Oz. there may be some hanging around somewhere, but they would be kept secret and safe.

hi guys thanks for the wheres shanny... and from the last post that deb said when some of my birds died it was alot to take in for and then i stopped hoping on for a long while and i needed like a space away from the aussie finch forum... and about debs comment about how many birds have died under my care it made me angry but its like they say the truth hurts sometimes and i have 3 more dead 2 zebbies and 1 gouldy whiched pi**ed me off as i was on holidays and i started coming back yestaday as 2 days ago i went to symbio wildlife center (a zoo) and my favoruite was the birds some beautifull sights and some confused me and there where multible cages 1 that had parrots like rosellas, king parrots, eclectus, 2 breeds of lorrikets, owls, ducks and cockateils and in the smaller aviares 1 had finches gouldians, blue and red faced parrots, common button quails and some other bird i think it was a small miner i think and the other aviarie had sun counres, a lorrikeet breed which has a red patch on its face and the confuseing part 3 owl finches where in with them aswell and looking at the smaller aviaries enspired me in a way... it was like a boost for me aswell and when i came home today my birds where in a small cage besides 3 other finches which are still in thee main cage and when i went to see them there was a mouse tunnel in there with seed in it i asked my brother why and he said i was trying to get them out and it pi**ed me off and i was like there is a net there next time use it but i was lucky my breeding parrents that had there babies didnt die only baby ones did so i now have a plan for there new home which will have one big change with new perches i got a log that i am going t hang from the roof and have some shrubs in there aswell just like symbio... thankyou all again

Glad your back Shanny. Yes sometimes the truth hurts(We all need to swallow our pride sometimes) But now is the time to look forward not back!!! Just concentrate on less birds cared for properly and watch DON'T touch!!! Good quality seed and clean water protection from the elements and you should have it licked all the best for the future.
