I have a wireless broadband prepaid internet with 3, this new laptop already has skype installed.
Anyone know if any calls made via skype on prepaid are free?

I would hate to set it up and start calling rellies in the UK and Canada then get presented with a bill that might put the National debt to shame!

Skype is promoted as being free, but there are bits on 3's website Ive found that say they charge the normal rate for anything outside the stated data. I have yet to find out what the stated data is.
I know Ill probably have to shoot off an email to 3, but wondered if anyone had the same deal and uses skype.

Hi,

It's free to call other people who have skype installed on a computer.

It costs a small amount of money to call through skype to normal landlines and mobile phones.
