I have started my finches on a five day treatment of Moxidectin Plus O.K. ? Also i would like to know where to get a heat lamp from ? please.

Any pet store especially those that carry reptile accessories or chemists use to sell them for people with muscle injuries or online , just google .

Quick fix for a heat lamp is any lamp that you can put in front of the cage that the birds are in, go to bunnings or a party store and get a red 40watt bulb (red is the best coz it didn't give alot if light so the bird can still get the much needed rest), then get an empty drink can cut off the top and a quater of the side,place over glob and fix to wire of cage on the outside. Make sure you don't have any sharp bits of can in the cage. When you turn it on the heat will reflex off the can and allow more heat inside. The birds should be able to get sufficient heat without getting burnt. When you get the time go to a shop that sells reptial goods and they'll set you up with a proper heat lamp and maybe able to give you advice how mount it in a cage so that you have a hospital cage for when your birds get sick.

I use Moxidectin plus over 1 or 2 day treatment dosed slightly less if 2 days. 5 days sounds a bit much.
