Unprintable hey .... well good on him .

I put my photos of my bird feeder up as per Harry's request in his original post , they work for me and do not husk up or have moths in them , if there was a problem with them I wouldn't use them .

I didn't put the photos up to be criticized by Fincho and his nameless mate .

Not a criticism in the slightest as it obviously works for you...... just a warning..........surely that is what this forum is all about stopping someone from making the same mistakes as I did.....or from learning from them.

People have all the info to make up their own minds ........not a contest

You might if you knew the name of my 'nameless mate'.........very few finch breeders don't know it but that's irrelevant I just sought a second opinion from an older source dat's all before posting.

Again I stress........."For Large Finch Collections" it may be inappropriate end of story...........I repeat no criticism just that the design may not be applicable across the board.....may need tweaking for colony aviaries esp finch ones........

Hang in there Fincho

There are lots of 'newbies' here who deserve to be given both (or more) sides to any story

Stir the pot . . . All of your points are valid . . . Deb's feeder works for her . . . all good

I've had a few shots across my bow here . . . But can't even remember what they were about

My HO of the forum is that it is a good mix of youth and experience with a fair sprinkling of genuine experts

My definition of an expert . . "Someone who knows more than I think I do" :silent:

All respect goes out to those who have years of experience behind them ...it fades away though when people skills are forgotten and ones comment makes another person feel bad .

Your mate ...please that's what made me angry ( his unprintable opinion of my feeder ) , if he is so good wheres his photos of his feeders ?

Who cares who he is anyway !

And Arthur yes it is a great forum .

This reminds me of another recent tiff on here involving un-named people, however a MOD was quick to point out the relevant rules in that case. :silent:
