hi all,just read MEMBERS page . after many years away from birds and relocating to the coast ,built a new aviary and interested in starting a small mixed finch collection. first couple of pair in new home y/stars,painted,and o/breast.Any help, information, feedback, local breeders will be greatly taken onboard.

Forster.....such a beautiful place....should be no shortage of cuttlefish/oyster shell for your finches, good luck with them.
i am from the other side of the hill(tamworth) but i'm sure you will come up with some breeders nearby.
one suggestion for your location....fully roof the aviary if you can with your coastal rain patterns.At least frosts/winter wont be a drama.
