have a pr of split to blue goulds that have 7 young just hatched.i can see that 3 are blue at least,My problem is I dont think all seven will make it,And you know murphys law the blues will be the ones that dont make it if any.I went through all the aviary's checking if there was anything of similar size I could slip a couple in with,You guessed it murphys law again.I guess we will leave it up to old mother nature and see what happens.

You could be lucky gomer and they fledge the 7 off them. Both parents could be good breeders for you, only time will tell. I hope they raise all of them for you.

True, true I cannot wait to see some bigger stronger birds around soon they will be just another mutation but I feel sorry for the breeders that have done the hard yards and spent big dollars and also had big losses. Well done and great job you guys great job.!

Seven is not to common for me, six I have had a few times with reasonable results so we will see what happens.Five is about the best with blues or splits.I have nests hatched or fledged out of between 1 and 7 birds.Looks like there is alot of splits atm.
