Hen laying but not sitting?

Hi i have a pair of zebra finches that love nest building and laying eggs but dont seem very enthused to sit on them? They now have around 10 eggs and still dont seem in a hurry to sit on them?

Does any one else find this?

I've never had this happen to mine before, how old are your zebras?? Have they bred before ??

Around a year old and this is my first try to breed from them

Well that explains a lot if they havnt bred before, just let them try over again and see how they go, the next clutch they Have they should get better at it and should be able to sit on them.
