As lots of us out there I started out keeping budgies as a boy.
Then 20 years later a friend told me he started keeping Green Singers and so sparked my interest in finches. So the first aviary was built and housed a pair of gouldians, stars and painteds.
Now 2 years later the second aviary has gone up and the collection expanded to a pair of diamond firetails - which I've determined are both female, a few quails and a lot more gouldians.
Year 3 and the third aviary is under construction - this is the last one, well that's the story that I'm sticking to. The collection has expanded to canaries, which I've adopted from a friend, goulds, stars, another diamond firetail - I'm assured this is a male and lots of occupied nests.\
Cheers and hope to talk to a few of you soon.
