I just purchased a pair of black headed Australian yellows from the pet store today and I only just noticed the red bar under his breast, is it normal for yellows to have the red bar under their breast?? Ill try and post a photo up later. Thanks

Very nice, the chest colour is very deep too isnt it? On my computer it seems almost blue. Be interesting to see how the young colour up.

today i seen a white breasted cock bird with a very big standout red bar under the breast. was close to buying but the whole cage of birds did not look healthy and i did not want to risk my birds at homes health. so i had to let him slide

If you have the facilities to buy and quaranteen the white breasted for a month it could be worth it. But only if you can be sure of a safe quaranteen.
