wow, those finches really know what they like!!
I have been for the last couple of days giving them a mix consisting of:

2 parts ordinary finch mix
1 part greens & Grains
1 part Breeder's Brew

they LOVE it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
every second day their bowl is filled only with husks!!

Jay didn't let them get too carried away. While feeding them up for those cold Canberra winter nights may do them some good gluttony is one of the seven deadly sins and it's obese practitioners are punished with poor fertility, diabetes, arthritis and a general lack of vigor.

Im feeding mine up after the last weekends snow and below freezing temps , rather fat and warm than frozen this year . :D
