We have three chicks in a nest, mum is a YH normal (though her back might be slightly paler, not sure). Dad is a YH PB dilute (has the grey pencil lines). From memory he had a sibling who was WB. Have just had a peek in the nest. One chick is dark, one is very light beige, and one in between. Is the chick colour an indication of what they will be like as adults? Particularly with the light colour? Don't want to take photos to avoid disrupting them too much. I know we will find out eventually, just curious. What does a dilute chick look like?

Working on the YH PC SFYB cock x YH PC GB hen
Your young could be
SFYB cocks
Green cocks
YB hens
Green hens

If the cock bird's sibling was a WB the only difference would be some of those chicks in the nest would be /wb

Thanks BB. Had another peak now that light is better. The lighter one is definitely different. Guessing it will be a YB. No idea what that might be/look like. I love surprises! :)
