Yes, heaps around this year for some reason. We've also got a few Red Brows and the odd Zebra or two.
And a flock of Yellow Tailed Black Cockatoos - I've counted more than 20 - very cool sound and loping flight. Not great photos - they're frames from a video - and the dog chasing them off doesn't help!

top shots Sam....
just where is douglas park anyway.....thought it sounded like western sydney?
i think i see why doublebars are 20-30 dollars per pair!
even though they are not prolific aviary breeders.
the black cockies are brilliant to watch in the wild, but i think thats where they should stay....unless you have a tennis court sized aviary.

Between Menangle and Picton. About an hour or so SW of Sydney (or 3 hours during peak hour!)COUNTRY CAPITAL wrote:just where is douglas park anyway.....
I strongly suggest this is even more the case with Red Brows.COUNTRY CAPITAL wrote:i think i see why doublebars are 20-30 dollars per pair!

And yeah, the Black Cockies are impressive to see in the wild.
