The things we do for our birds ! These young Gouldian’s father died for some reason about three week’s ago then on Saturday i noticed i had not seen there mother since Friday ,so on opening the nest box there she was dead with here chicks . She put so much into looking after the chicks she died of exhaustion . Bugger !!! what to do put them down or hand feed ? Being the softy that I am I’m hand feeding . It hasn't taken them long to work out that I mean food . Photos were taken this afternoon all going well so far .
