Thank you to everyone for your sympathies. Its amazing how such a little dog can hold such a big piece of my heart.
Lily was 6 years old. Had her since she was a baby.Tintola wrote:How old was she?
She did, inside dog all her life, never a problem with chewing or toilet training, her bark when she needed to go out sounded just like a gruff "out". Totally different when my son drove up in the car, she just about took the roof off barking, something about the V8 low growl she didnt like at all. Not too keen on cats either, but she taught the other dogs cat chasing techniques well.jusdeb wrote:Im sure she had the best life a little dog could have .

She was a gorgeous little dog Di, she looks like a mirror image of my little girl. You have my deepest sympathy. I don't know how I would handle something like that.

My condolences. They do leave a big hole to fill. My own 'pain' is still very raw and it's been six months. At least you were there for her in her time off need, and had her best interests at heart.
