Watched a Foxtel program last night called "Is it possible" the only thing I was interested in seeing was the clip about the Lyre birds. They can mimic anything. I saw them mimic an electric drill, a jackhammer, and if you have your eyes closed you would swear the program was showing you a Kookaburra.
Showed scenes from the Adelaide Zoo too.

Being Foxtel its bound to be on again, so those of you with Foxtel or Austar, mark it in the planner.

They sure are the worlds best mimics. But the poor female Lyre bird must be very confused. "Hi honey, It's me." "Who?" "You know who." "The Lyre Bird or The Kookaburra that snuck in last night?" etc.
