I have built the box but arn't sure which way to go with the floor.I copied one that I saw that was a piece of ply with lots of holes drilled in it and nothing else.
Following all the posts there seems to be a number of different ideas with a piece of metal over the floor the most popular. Any and all ideas will be
appreciated. Also the best temp for the floor of the box.My box has two globes under the floor. :notsure:

Ive seen hospital boxes with all different types of flooring, some were pegboard, some wood with hole drilled in, some metal with pierced holes. Ive gone with the holes in the wooden floor and placed a raised solid metal floor over that.
I put newspaper on the metal section for ease of cleaning.
Got pics here

Ive trialled the temps in the box and I can keep it to within the temps required for a sick bird.

I have a metal slide that the globes heat up (Spreads the heat more evenly)and above that is perforated steel mesh to keep birds feet out of direct contact with the hot metal.
