E Orix
Mine isn't colourful. it is short for Euplectes Orix which is the Latin name of the Grenadier Weaver
The Weavers and Whydahs are my favorites hence the name.

I admit it. 1/2 reality and 1/2 wishful thinking.
And to differentiate from the family budgiebreeder and parrottbreeder.

I've been using some variation of "MadHatter" as a username ever since we got an internet account (dialup) at home and discovered IRC. Thought I was sooo clever and original at the time...
It's hard work trying to keep track of different usernames on different forums, so I try and stick with "MadHatter" wherever possible. I also answer to "MH" "Mad" "Hatter" and "Hatty".

My husband has never called me by my name which is Fiona and we have been together for 38 years. Some of the nicknames he calls me are Groobob, Duffus,Fat bum (I wear size 8 jeans!!),The boss,Banana brain,Tbrain and "Tbird", so when I joined the forum I thought "Tbird" just had to be my username.
