Not so sure about that Buzz. They can be great talkers, no doubt, but can be very nervous and are prone to behavioural problems and plucking- great in the right hands, disastrous in others. For that amount of money you really need to understand the bird, get some experience with it, then decide if it's for you- but that's true of all large parrots I suppose.Buzzard-1 wrote:Best pet parrot ever, but how to justify the price.
I've just seen too many people fall in love with them ( and macaws, Amazons etc), only for it to end in tears within months-years.
One of the comments on their website in the past has been:" if you see a bird advertised for a HIGHER price, we guarantee to beat it!" LOLjusdeb wrote:any lovers of all things expensive and exotic might enjoy looking at the latest offerings .
They do run a very professional operation and their birds are very good quality.

The Orange Bird Society did a tour of Priam Bird Breedig Facility 3 or 4 years ago.
It was a fantastic day! (to say the least!)
I'm sure it has expanded greatly since.
I don't know if they still do tours - but I suspect if you organise it through a club you'd be more likely to get a postive outcome.
