Went out this morning to find one of my Diamond Firetail hens huddled down on the aviary floor with a Painted hen. Was able to pick them up with no effort at all and thought I was going to lose the Diamond. I put both in a hospital cage and a few minutes later the Diamond produced an egg. Now this is really weird since can't find any signs of nest building in the aviary. So far both are doing well (fingers crossed) so hopefully I've headed off a catastrophe.

thanks, apparently she was chirping away madly today. Plenty of cuttlefish, egg shell and green food in with them now.

Breeding aid added to the seed or even Veg oil will also help.
