Purchased these books the other days at a shop for $1 ea thought I did ok

Rick Jordan Parrot Incubation Procedures $1 (new condition)

Ringnecked Parakeets and their Mutations (Bastiaan) $1 (new condition)

And an ABK guide to book $1

The ASA lists Parrot Incubation Procedures for $80. I don’t think the Bastiaan book was cheap either

The only problem is that I don’t keep Ringnecks. :)

You did really well, great finds.

So, when do you get your Ringnecks? You have the book, might as well get the birds.

Plenty of Ringneck lovers out there . Whack it on ebay , you might make a tidy profit.

I might consider it If I had the space and I could get a pair for the right price. There are so many nice looking mutations available now, however from what I can see of it they are a hard sell even for the Violets and for me the Violets are still overpriced.

I don't want to breeding birds where I might have to consider culling a lot of young birds like breeders did with the blues, yellows, greens, etc, because they were so difficult to sell.
