Congatulations, I remember how excited I was when my zebras had their first eggs. All you have to do now is wait until they hatch. Goodluck. :D

Accept that some days you are the pigeon, and some days you are the statue.

Always exciting when that pair of birds you want to breed eventually do something right, would like to see the little tackers face when he hears the news, to this day even I still get excited when my birds start to build nest and lay. Good on him hope his hard work pays off.

Dad just told me to have a quick look in the nesting box of my Zebs, there is 2 eggs in there.
Just hope the eggs will be ok as its really cold and windy here,i do cover them up a nights to try and keep the out of the wind.

I have a question, now there are 2 eggs will she start sitting on them now or is it after she has layed all her last egg????
I have put some more greens in and some egg biscuit is there anything else i can do for my Zebras

Thanks everyone

My zebras normally start sitting on the first or second egg that is laid. The only thing you can do now Is give them plenty of privacy so they don't get distressed. But don't worry if they do get a bit distressed they will normally go back and continue to sit on their eggs after you leave. Goodluck.

Goodness , no, not at all you must be doing things right as you have birds that are laying eggs and sitting tight. Will send you a pm.
I forget sometime you are only 11 and might not have heard terms like this.
